In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bujtor is a published scientific researcher and experienced business leader, having spent 13+ years as a corporate finance professional focussed on M&A, private & structured financing and special situation transactions, before returning to university to study science.

 

Dr Bujtor holds a Ph.D. and is a peer-reviewed published scientific researcher. She spent time working at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IOPPN - ranked 2nd in the world for psychology and psychiatry), at King’s College London, where she worked on various research projects relating to dietary intake and mental health.

Dr. Bujtor's extensive experience nicely bridges the gap between science and industry, driving impactful change in health and nutrition.

Dr Bujtor's research interests are centred on paediatric nutrition and its vital role in mental and physical development across the crucial childhood and adolescence years. Additionally, she is passionate about exploring the complexities of food environments, food safety and food security, and their effect on public health outcomes in the developmental years. Through her research efforts, Dr. Bujtor strives to foster healthier communities and empower future generations with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive.

During her tenure at Kings College London, Dr Bujtor was Deputy Editor of Inspire the Mind, an award-winning digital magazine that focuses on the intersection of mental health, science and society. The platform strives to promote evidence-based and accessible mental health conversations across written, audio and video content produced by scientists and individuals with lived experience.
